In order to make the programme relevant to the needs of the country, the curriculum development process should effectively translate national educational needs into programmes. Any course approval/ accreditation process and subsequent periodic review of programmes should encompass assessment of the curriculum and in the process ascertain whether the institution is following the NCQF as well as stipulated guidelines for course design.
