Dr Andrew B. Molwane

Dr Andrew B. Molwane holds a Bachelors Concurrent Diploma in Education from the University of Botswana and Swaziland, a Master of degree and Science Education from Indiana University, a Master of Arts in Computers in Education from the University of London and a PhD from Indiana University. Dr Molwane has spent all his professional life in the field education. He worked as a secondary school teacher and then a teacher trainer before becoming a college deputy principal at Tonota College of Education and subsequently at Molepolole College of Education. His contribution in education can also be traced through the co-authorship of eight social studies text books for secondary and primary schools. Between 2005 and 2008 he coordinated a major project which culminated with a report on Teacher Supply and Demand for Botswana Primary and Secondary Schools: 2006—2016. From 2008 to 2013 Dr Molwane also coordinated another major project on the establishment of the National Credit and Qualifications Framework. This project led to the birth of the Botswana Qualifications Authority. Currently he is the Director for Business Development Department.
